Monthly Magazine Hobby Japan 2025.11

Picked this up mainly for the Yamato 50th anniversary coverage and it goes deeper than I expected, with original 1974 production notes and interviews I hadn't read anywhere else. The print quality on the vintage stills is sharp too, no muddy scans.

The 50th anniversary retrospective on the 1974 Yamato broadcast is worth the cover price alone, with production stills I hadn't seen in any of the fan books I own.

I picked this up mainly for the Yamato feature and ended up reading the whole thing cover to cover in one sitting. The vintage cel reproductions from the 1974 broadcast are printed beautifully, way sharper than the scans I've seen online.
