The amphibious build feature in this issue is exactly the kind of deep-dive I subscribe for, with clear shots of the underside details I hadn't seen anywhere else. Paper quality feels thicker than last month's issue too.

Preordered it hoping the amphibious feature would cover more than a page, and it delivered — the underwater-to-land build breakdown is genuinely useful. Paper quality on the photo spreads is thick enough that the paint close-ups don't bleed through.

I grabbed this issue mainly for the underwater-to-land conversion builds, and the step-by-step photos of the hull seam work alone were worth it. Paper quality is thick enough that the paint color swatches don't bleed through.
