That retro gray is exactly what I needed for a weathered military robot look, and it went on smooth without any clumping. The lacquer base has a nice solid feel to it and covers well in just a couple of coats.
The retro gray is exactly what I hoped for when painting my mech kit—it dries to a nice matte finish and the 15ml bottle covers a surprising amount of surface. This is the kind of color that makes panel lines pop without looking toy-like.
The 15ml bottle is small but lasts longer than I expected since lacquer paint goes a long way when thinned properly. This retro gray has just the right hint of warmth that makes panel lines pop without looking too stark.
