Ce solvant compatible est conçu pour diluer les peintures acryliques solubles dans l'eau. Il sert à diluer les peintures à base d'eau et les peintures acryliques en résine soluble dans l'eau, ou à nettoyer les pinceaux usagés.

Les peintures acryliques sèchent plus lentement et offrent un revêtement moins résistant que les peintures à base de laque, mais elles peuvent être appliquées de manière similaire à l'aquarelle.
