Ralentiza el proceso de secado, ayudando a eliminar las imperfecciones de la superficie causadas por las cerdas del pincel, dando un acabado suave y brillante. The drying time is just slow enough that brush strokes level out on their own before the lacquer sets, which completely changed my results on small scale models. The 40mL bottle is a solid size, but what really sold me is how smooth and glossy the final coat comes out without any drag marks.
The 40mL bottle lasted me through dozens of touch-up jobs, and the way it smooths out brush strokes on lacquer is genuinely impressive. My final coat dried with that glossy, even look I could never get before.
Brush-painting lacquer used to leave those annoying bristle marks no matter how careful I was, but this retarder genuinely changes the workflow. The 40mL bottle lasts a while, and the finish is noticeably smoother and glossier once it finally sets.
