Este material de enmascarado es soluble en agua, por lo que su concentración se puede ajustar diluyéndolo con agua.

(Nota: Al aplicar pinturas hobby a base de agua o pinturas acrílicas encima, el agua de la pintura puede disolver la máscara.)

La película seca se puede cortar con un cúter de diseño o un cúter de uso general. Se recomienda usar una cuchilla nueva al cortar. Cortar con una cuchilla desafilada puede hacer que los bordes se levanten.
